I grew up in a very artistic family. My grandfather was an artist with a public art studio/school, and my dad was a tattoo artist. I always loved drawing, but there was something so intriguing to me about the art of tattooing. I knew that it was definitely something I wanted to do one day. In high school, the art room was my second home. I would spend all day, every day, inside practicing my drawings with pictures and articles of my favourite tattoo artists on the screen in front me for inspiration. I studied tattooing more than I did my actual schoolwork. I strongly believe in the law of attraction and that everything in the universe is in sequence – I met Jody in June of 2016 when I got my first tattoo, and exactly 2 years later, in June of 2018, I started my apprenticeship at Inkboy. This place has now become my second home, and the people my second family.
